There’s good news for front desks, accountants and cost-conscious clients everywhere. With that lead in, we know exactly what you’re thinking…if it includes, accountants this must be EXCITING. Well, it is.
You can now set up your Stripe account to automatically email branded receipts directly to clients whenever they purchase with you so they can verify and record payments on their side without asking for help. Less receipt requests and charge enquiries means you can spend more time building your business. Or sneaking a quick look at Facebook. Your time, your call, no judgement!
To add auto-emails on receipts:
- Log into your Stripe dashboard – https://dashboard.stripe.com
- Click ‘your account’ in the top right hand side of the dashboard
- Click ‘Account settings’
- Click the ‘Email’ tab on the far right had side of the settings window
- Here you can toggle the following three options:
- Email me for successful payments
- Email customers for successful payments
- Email customers for refunds
By clicking ‘Customize your email receipts’ you can personalise your receipts through Stripe. You can add in:
- your business name
- your website
- Statement descriptor (appears on your clients bank statement)
- support website
- email address
- phone number
- address
You can also upload your logo, and enter your hexadecimal colour code (#xxxxxx).
