PiYo LIVE Review

CLmM_ovWUAAADm6

We love our friends at Beachbody LIVE here at Fynder, and have certainly sweated through our fair share of INSANITY classes. Always up for something new, last week we headed to the equally challenging but completely different PiYo LIVE ® class with the fabulous Tanya of Tanya N fitness! The facts

  • Tanya teaches INSANITY® and PiYo® classes across South-West London.
  • Classes vary from a full 60 minutes to a shorter 45 or 30.
  • Prices range from £8 for single classes to £60 for 10-class packs. First class only £5!

Classes include:

  • PiYo® LIVE combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements.
  • INSANITY® LIVE is a high-intensity group workout, which uses max interval training and promises to completely transform your body!

Our Experience

Despite having to walk by the tantalising smell of one of our fave Italians restaurants to get there, we made it to PiYo® early and were rewarded with Tanya’s sunny smile, and the news that due to the fabulous weather, we were moving PiYo® to the park! We trotted off down the road to Eel Brook Common, which is a glorious site in the summer time. Tennis players, boot campers, runners and bikers; it’s a haven for fitness lovers. Not to be outdone, Tanya set up her tunes and we were off! Having done a fair bit of both yoga and pilates in our lives, we weren’t sure WHAT to expect. But man were we impressed! Neither pilates OR yoga, but combining some of the best elements of both, PiYo® has its own secret recipe, which includes non stop movement to really burn those calories. Tanya’s incredible energy guided us through 4 flowing sequences which heated us up, strengthened, sculpted, and stretched us out.  We can’t wait to go back.

Why it Works

Tanya’s Fulham based classes are selling out, and we can see why. The vibe is friendly and fun, and the workout makes you work without burning you out.
