London has the world’s best taxi network. There are a lot of reasons to love London cabbies (the chat, the black cabs, the big personalities), but none outranks “The Knowledge” – a three-year education process designed to ensure each driver knows how to help you get where you’re going…even if you’re not quite sure yet where that is. When we decided to build Fynder, one of the most exciting aspects was having the ability to share the knowledge we’d earned opening seven London studios and taking almost a million bookings while building Heartcore Fitness. There was a little luck, a lot of hard work, countless wrong turns and more data analysis than you’d ever guess involved in the lessons we learned and now we have a chance to share those lessons to help you get where you’re going…even if you’re not quite sure yet where that is.
The first Knowledge feature we’re releasing is this blog. Don’t worry though, we won’t pretend to know it all. Instead, we’ll share the most useful lessons we’ve learned while:
(i) Highlighting a whole host of new studios, instructors and brands we love;
(ii) Sharing advice from guest experts on issues that matter to founders, managers and instructors;
(iii) Giving you a glimpse into the day-to-day routines of some awesome people just like you who’ve made their passion for service a profession; and
(iv) Providing a few tips and tricks for getting the most out of Fynder as you build your studio, team, practice and/or business.
As with anything in life, I’m sure we’ll make a couple wrong turns on this blog while earning a few more lessons along the way. We won’t always be perfect, but we’ll do our best to share ideas and perspectives we think will make your unique journey a little clearer, easier and more rewarding.
