WordPress allows you to make beautiful websites that you can manage easily; Fynder integrates wonderfully as a WordPress booking system. Pumped to have yours up and running? Can’t wait to get your Fynder schedule up there?  See below for how to link Fynder with WordPress. Once you’ve done that, it gets even more fun!  You can play around with where you want it. We’ve got a few tips from our lead designer here!

Linking Fynder into WordPress happens in two steps. Firstly, the script tag for the Fynder widget is inserted into the website footer. Secondly, the modal link is inserted onto any page you’d like a link or button to show your schedule.

Step 1

Inserting the Fynder script tag into the website footer means that the Fynder widget can be launched from any page on your website. This is very important if you want to insert your schedule into multiple pages and/or your menu bar (to insert your schedule button into the menu bar, read our guide).

<script src="//m.fynder.io/fynder-loader.js"></script>
<script>window.addEventListener("load", function() {fynder_loader.loader.parent(n)});</script>

Step 2

Now that you have the script tag installed on your website, the link to launch your schedule can be placed; within pages, in the menu bar – wherever you like. All you need to do is paste the following link:

<a class=’fynder-show-schedule’ href=’#’>View Our Schedule</a>

The text in italics (‘View Our Schedule’) can be replaced with whatever you would like the text of the link to appear as. Commonly used labels include ‘Book Now’, ‘View Schedules’, ‘View Our Schedule’ and ‘Book a Class’. The worlds your oyster though, you can put whatever wording you like best.

It’s that easy! Your schedule is now posted on your website; you’re ready to take bookings and payments online!

Want to turn your ‘View Our Schedule’ link into an actual button, then read this guide! Want to insert that into your menu bar?! We talk you through how here.
